Cleopatra

For nearly three decades, Cleopatra ruled Egypt. She was 18 years old when she ascended the throne alongside her younger brother, Ptolemy XIII, and was expelled from Egypt by his counselors in 49 B.C. With the help of Julius Caesar, she was able to reunite with her other brother, Ptolemy XIV. She later had a son named Ptolemy Caesar, who is said to be the Roman dictator’s son. Ptolemy XIV died not long after Julius Caesar’s assassination, therefore she governed Egypt alongside Ptolemy Caesar.
