Nefertiti
Nefertiti was Akhenaten’s Great Royal. This stucco-covered limestone bust of her is supposed to be the work of Thutmose of Amarna, Egypt. It was discovered in the artist’s workshop in 1912, and is thought to have been made in 1345 B.C. The Egyptian queen’s face was shown to be gorgeous and defined in the sculpture. Is this how she appeared in real life?
