Julius Caesar, a Roman statesman and army general, was responsible for the Roman Empire’s vast growth. He was the one who invaded Britain by crossing the Rhine River and the English Channel. He held firm in his convictions and returned to Rome via Gaul, armed. It resulted in civil war. There were numerous sculptures of him, which aided in the reenactment of this significant historical character.

The National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden houses this lifelike bust of Julius Caesar. Using 3D technology, they scanned a marble portrait of him. The 3D reconstruction was built on this foundation. He went on to become a dictator and implement significant social and administrative reforms after winning the Roman civil war. He offered citizenship to anyone residing in the empire’s farthest reaches, among other things. The Senate did not approve of his reforms, thus he was assassinated in 44 B.C.
