Abraham Lincoln – 150
While serving as President of the United States, Abraham “Abe” Lincoln was responsible for a number of significant accomplishments that are still remembered today. Throughout his tenure as president, which spanned 1861 to 1865, he helped pave the way for the abolition of slavery and served as the Union’s commander-in-chief during the American Civil War. It was in 1863 that he issued the Emancipation Proclamation, which laid the groundwork for the abolition of slavery by granting the Slaves of the Southern United States the status of free people. In addition, he abolished slavery by ratifying the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Unfortunately, his assassination in 1865 cut his time short and prevented him from witnessing the fruits of his labors for the remainder of his life. Regardless, his legacy continues to live on, with surveys revealing that he is still the most popular and well-liked President in the history of the United States of America. Due to his IQ of 150, he wasn’t just one of the smartest presidents; he was also one of the smartest persons on the planet, according to some estimates.
