The popular actress is seen here promoting the Women’s Sports Foundation’s fight for gender empowerment in sports. Though she always does some performing, Geena now devotes the majority of her time to advocacy. She’s even established her center to study gender stereotypes in the media. She was one of 300 candidates for a place on the 1999 women’s Olympic archery squad. When Disney sells the Hunger Games franchise, she might portray an older Katniss Everdeen.
