Marysol, her daughter, claims that her mother’s eyelid surgery in the 1980s “gave her hematomas on her eyes for like three years.” For everyone, that’s an exorbitant sum to pay for plastic surgery, and “Mama Elsa” is more known for her post-surgery condition than her heyday of beauty. Marysol claims that her mother was almost unrecognizable at that period and during her subsequent treatments, but she doesn’t remember Elsa getting a facelift at the time.
