Elsa Then, as a star of The Real Housewives of Miami, Patton became known as “Mama Elsa.” Her involvement was so well received that she was given her own spin-off series, Havana Elsa, which aired on the Bravo network in-between seasons of The Real Housewives of Miami. The spin-off was unfortunately canceled after “Mama Elsa” slipped and wounded herself. She is said to have sustained a brain injury after a fall at her house.
