For John Oens, the day started out like any other. When he inspected the trap he set up, the avid hunter, on the other hand, had no idea what he was going to find. He discovered a large timber wolf instead of a coyote. It was attempting to free itself after its front paw became caught in the trap. He was well aware that this was not a joking matter. He knew it would be foolish to attempt to free the wolf on his own because he might be attacked. John didn’t want his arm to be severed from his body.
