You Found It
Jason and Kerri Brown were excited upon their discovery of a house in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in foreclosure for $75,000. The couple knew that it was a great haul but later, they found out that it would be the cause of one of their nightmares, especially for their 2-year-old child. They started renovations right away. Keri moved some bookcases around and discovered a passageway that led to a hidden room. There was even a note from the previous owners that was titled “You Found It.” The note revealed the serious mold problem of the house that could make children sick and forced the family to move out. The couple took haste in moving out of the house and sued everyone that was involved in selling them the house.
