Secret Spy Stash
It might not be common for most of us to meet a secret agent, so it could be even rarer to find out that a secret agent was an unassuming old lady. There was one family who found out that the previous owner might be a secret agent as they renovated their new home. During renovations, they found a stash of spy-related items that you could only see in movies or video games. There were a machine gun and classified photos of Berlin after the bombing of World War II. There were also telegrams from Her Majesty’s Secret Service and the War Office. The name of this secret agent was Eileen Burgoyne and she died at 98 years of age. She worked as a shadow agent in Africa, Germany, Gibraltar, and Spain. She was hired after WWII and was speculated to be an integral part of the Cold War effort.
