Worst: Be-Bop Bamboozled, 1989

According to PopDust, the Be Bob Bamboozled set in 1989 is the “weirdest Super Bowl halftime show ever.” Sadly, they are not the only ones to have this opinion. Dan Witkowski, the producer, said that it was meant to be tongue-in-cheek with 3-D glasses that the audience members had to use, the “world’s largest card trick,” an Elvis impersonator called Elvis Presto, and an unknown magician. Aside from that, the producer claimed that 300 million viewers in China tuned in. You can say that this is not one of the worst halftime performances if you look at it through a “get eyeballs on this show” lens. However, we do not think that should be the basis of anything for this list!
