Best: Bruce, 2009
Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen is behind one of the greatest Super Bowl halftime performances in history. He delivered a set that was 15 minutes long. This meant that it was longer than the others. It also allowed us to listen to more of his best songs. He performed an unknown track, which people found weird since he only had four songs to play. Aside from that odd choice, he went with “Born to Run” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze Out.” Before this, he had already turned down a number of invitations to do it. The whole country was thrilled when he finally accepted in 2009.
