William Jefferson Clinton was elected President of the United States on November 4, 1993, and served two terms from 1993 to 2001. During his administration, the United States saw the longest period of economic growth under any president ever sworn into office. Helen Thomas, a White House reporter, had this to say about him: “He has brought on the greatest prosperity our country has ever experienced, and he doesn’t get the credit for it, which is a shame. Clinton was able to garner the best approval rating of any president since the Second World War, with a 60 percent approval rating. Clinton has an IQ of 159, making him the fifth-smartest President in the history of the United States.
