Did you know that James Monroe served as President of the United States from 1817 to 1825? This founding father served as President of the United States for the fifth time. When he was running for the position, he was a popular option and easily won the election by an overwhelming margin. His tenure in office was nicknamed the “Era of Good Feelings” by historians. Monroe fought in the American Revolutionary War and became well-known for his foreign policy, which was dubbed “The Monroe Doctrine” by the press. Monroe had an IQ of 138.6, which was just a hair higher than George W. Bush, who got the third lowest score. Nonetheless, a score of 138.6 does not indicate that he is a slacker either.
