Bush Hears About 9/11
Tuesday, September 11th, 2001, in the wee hours of the morning. Everyone recalls the day when Al Qaeda launched an attack on the United States. Two planes were flown into the World Trade Center in New York City, resulting in the deaths of thousands of people. The president was at Emma E. Booker Elementary School in Sarasota County, Florida, at the time of the incident. The president was not injured.
