While she did an amazing job acting, people tend to forget that she retired just a few years after her career peaked in Hollywood. Instead, she ventured into another world, working with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for all her adult life. In 1988, however, after she retired from acting, she became an official ambassador.
