Kal Penn
Back in 2004, Kal Penn went to White Castle. Then, in 2009, he went to the White House. That’s quite the upgrade. Despite his comedic on-screen appearances in the Harold & Kumar franchise, he got a serious position in the White House Office of Public Engagement. Using his real name, Kalpen Modi, he worked with the government. After serving in this position for two years, he came back to Hollywood.
