Melissa Gilbert of Little House on the Prairie and her family lived in Livingston County, Michigan, for more than three years. Even then, in July of 2018, the family announced their transfer to the one and only New York City by holding an estate sale. The family felt at ease and at home in their new home. Their neighbors told The Livingston Post that, despite their celebrity, they made time to volunteer in the community and help others. Gilbert, who is 55 years old, keeps herself busy these days with her acting and filmmaking careers.
