A Flying Cat
They say that “cats always land on their feet,” but if this one does not, gravity is at fault. In their experiments during the ’50s and ‘ 60s, the Air Force and NASA extensively used monkeys, mice, and cats. They were used to observe how organic matter reacted to the blastoff and space in high-velocity and high-altitude experiments. A monkey was the first American astronaut, whereas a dog was the first Soviet one.
