A Meteor Hit Her
The woman in this picture is Ann Hodges. She’s the only known individual to have been hit by a meteorite! Others may have suffered the same fate, but not a lot of people survive something like that. When a nine-pound rock struck her radio, ricocheted, and hit her side, she was napping on the couch. She still ended up more fortunate than others, even though she had been unlucky.
