Connecting Images
A lot of historical painters want to create an image of The Messiah based on their own knowledge about Him. Having a detailed guide on how Jesus looked like back in the day or during His era would be a great help. However, even in the Bible, there were no illustrative descriptions or statements made with regard to the physical appearance of Jesus. This situation made the artists or historical painters create portrayals of Jesus based on the earlier paintings and images of The Messiah created by the previous painters. They have connected the images and created a similar image of Jesus.
