The Tunics Are Not Long
After numerous studies, the female historian, Joan, discovered some evidence and thought that the ordinary men back in the era of Jesus were wearing a tunic. For those who do not know what Tunic is, it is a piece of loose body garment starting from the neck and ending just above the knee. It was found to be similar to the illustrations that were found. Men wear loose tunic so that they can move freely and faster while doing their work and it makes them flexible too. Garments that are longer than the knee-length tunic are considered impractical and not an item of daily clothing for these ordinary men.
