Kim Carnes
In the past, Kim Carnes has been likened to Rod Stewart for her raspy voice. In 1980, she made waves in the music scene after Kenny Rogers commissioned her to co-write “Gideon.” The two of them also participated in a duet called “Don’t Fall in Love with a Dreamer.” It reached the fourth spot on the Billboard Hot 100. On top of that, they were nominated for a Grammy award for this performance. She also released her “Mistaken Identity” album, which came with a song called “Bette Davis Eyes.”
