This singer, also known as Grace Slick, was an important figure in the San Francisco psychedelic music scene in the ‘60s. She is now retired, but she deserves that after spending four decades in the scene. In the past, she performed with acts such as The Great Society, Jefferson Airplane, and Jefferson Starship. A talented songwriter, she wrote hits like “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” “We Built This City,” “White Rabbit,” and “Somebody to Love.” She used to be called “Gracie” and “The Chrome Nun” as well.
