However, their marriage just lasted less than a year and ended in January 1998. The two of them had a sour relationship after the split. Even though the two of them split up in 1998, Jennifer Lopez hired Ojani Noa to be her restaurant manager in 2002. She fired her ex-husband after six months. After J Lo fired Ojani Noa, he decided to have revenge since she had no reasonable grounds to fire him. Ojani Noa tried to publish a book that included intimate details about his Marriage with Jennifer Lopez last 2006. Jennifer Lopez appealed to the court to block the publishing because they had signed a privacy agreement. Ojani Noa was fine $545,000 for this breach. In 2013, Ojani Noa claimed that he had video footage that he planned to release. It did not contain adult scenes. However, it did feature Jennifer Lopez naked. Ojani Noa claimed that he had already been contacted by adult sites to buy the footage, and he planned to let it go to the highest bidder. Ojani Noa even alleged that Jennifer Lopez loved to be intimate in odd places. Jennifer Lopez once again took to the court to prevent Ojani Noa from releasing the footage. For the second time around, she won the case, and Ojani Noa did not manage to publish the footage.
