Nick’s criminal past
Nick is a sneaky but charming fox who discovers in Zootopia that he has a golden heart. However, he makes several incredibly questionable judgments at the outset of the film. In one short sequence, you probably missed a good little joke about Nick’s questionable career path prior to applying to the Zootopia Police Department.

When you zoom in on the application, you can see that Nick first checked “yes” for the question “have you ever been arrested.” He then crossed it out and substituted the word “yes” for the word “no.”
