The Shining carpet
Did the carpet in Sid’s house in Toy Story ever look like it could be from somewhere else? Because it is. For some reason, the carpet is one of a number of references to The Shining that appear in the Toy Story franchise.
The Shining Carpet
The carpet looks just like the one in the eerie hotel where the events of The Shining are set. Room 237 is written on the number plate of a waste truck, and there are other tributes to Tony (the guy who lived in Danny’s mouth) to be discovered.
