According to *The New York Times*, the owners of this intimate, tasting-menu restaurant—French chef Ludo Lefebvre, alongside American restaurateurs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo (of the popular Animal and Son of a Gun)—are regarded as “among the most influential restaurateurs” in Los Angeles. Despite their prominence and the restaurant’s Michelin star, they couldn’t withstand the impact of the pandemic. “Covid-19 has changed everything,” Lefebvre shared on Instagram, adding, “I had to accept the reality that it was time to let go of the idea of reopening Trois Mec.”
