After 74 years of serving the community under three generations of the Okuno family, this beloved neighborhood breakfast-and-lunch spot has officially closed its doors. “The place has weathered both economic booms and severe downturns,” wrote current owners Rod and Karen Okuno on the restaurant’s website, “but this final challenge proved insurmountable for our little corner of the world.”
