Pals With The POTUS
Not a lot of people get to hang out with the President of the United States. Can you believe that Kenny Chesney got to do this during the administration of George W. Bush? He did it not just once but twice. The first time happened when he was invited to perform at a state dinner with Australia’s prime minister. The musician left such a huge impact on the politicians that he received eel-skin cowboy boots at the end of the meal. They made it with engravings of his initials, as well as both the Australian and American flags. We are sure that he was touched by it, but we do not know if he wore them when he crossed paths with the president. That took place at the 2008 White House Tee Ball All-Star Game.
