Frogmouth Chick
How adorable are these petite animals? It makes perfect sense that the Frogmouth chick is really hard to spot. These nocturnal animals can be found in the Indian Subcontinent across Southeast Asia all the way to Australia. When these cute fellas are threatened they make an alarm call sound that signals to their chicks to remain silent, to encourage them to camouflage. They are carnivores and their diet consists mainly of pests in houses, farms, or gardens.
