Susan Dey
Susan Dey was a famous American actress during her time. Before starting her career as an actress, she made a couple of modeling gigs alongside her sister after her grandmother submitted their photos to a modeling agency. Her first modeling break was the cover of a photo booklet by Pursettes tampons on the primary fact of menstruation for young girls. She was made famous by her role as Laurie Partridge on the sitcom The Partridge Family which aired for four years, starting from the year 1970 to 1974. After the show, she continued acting, joining the cast of the drama series, L.A. Law as Grace Van Owen which aired from 1986 until 1992. Her great acting skills on the show had awarded her the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 1988. She also hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live in 1992. Dey also succeeded in the writing industry after publishing a book titled Susan Dey’s Secrets on Boys, Beauty, and Popularity in 1972. She remained in the industry for a while and did a couple more show appearances. She decided to retire from acting in 2004 after her latest role as Dr Breene in Third Watch.
