The 5 Most Luxurious Beaches In the World

Navagio, Greece

We have to admit that the beach of Navagio on Zakynthos is not a real secret insider tip. But the beach is so beautiful that it should not be missing from this list. It is one of the most beautiful in Greece – perhaps even one of the most beautiful in Europe – and can only be reached by boat. The steep limestone cliffs protectively rise around the small bay of snow-white sand, in front of which the azure blue sea stretches.

Rai Leh, Thailand

Rai Leh, also known as Railay, is a peninsula in the south of the Krabi Province of Thailand. The jungle-green limestone formations that seem to protect the dreamy sandy bays can be seen from a distance. Powdery white sand and the emerald green Andaman Sea complete the paradisiacal picture.  While the east side is unsuitable for swimming due to the mangrove forests, opinions differ as to which of the other two is the more beautiful.

Playa Norte, Mexico

The palm-fringed beach on the Mexican island of Isla Mujeres, not far from Cancún, is one of the other bays in the country and is popular also for tourists. The land is opened up to restaurants and hotels, and the beach was added to the seclusion. The almost 700 meters long Playa Norte is nonetheless worth a trip. The sand shimmers glistening white in the sunlight and the sea shimmers turquoise. If you don’t have your own boat, you can take a ferry from Cancun.

Cala Macarelleta, Spain

Turquoise colored water, fine beach sand, and the rugged cliffs make Cala de Macarelleta one of the most popular and beautiful beaches in Menorca. Located in the southwest of the Balearic island, the almost 200 square meters beach beauty enchants its bathers, especially in summer. The beach can only be reached by water or on foot – if you want to enjoy the natural beach, you have to undertake a 15-minute climb over the rocks by land.

Anse Source d’Argent, La Digue Island, Seychelles

Of course, the Seychelles cannot be missed. Anse Source d’Aragent beach is located on the island of La Digu. With its powdered sugar sand, rock formations, and – of course – crystal clear water, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Here you can not only swim and relax but also snorkel great. By the way: Some scenes of the movie “Cast Away ” with Tom Hanks were filmed on this dream beach.
