Boy George was born George Alan O’Dowd, and he was the frontman for Culture Club, one of the largest music groups of the 1980s. George stuck out as a London club kid noted for his quirky style and crazy attitudes until he was spotted by the Sex Pistol’s boss Malcolm McLaren.
