David Lynch’s strange outlook on small-town living in the aftermath of the mysterious assassination of Laura Palmer caught the public’s imagination all around the country. Suppose there was a face to Twin Peaks, Lara Flynn Boyle, who played Donna Howard, Laura’s near friend who became fascinated with solving the crime, in both seasons of the show’s brief run. However, she did not reprise her part in the film sequel, and she has already declined a role in a new TV series set to premiere in 2017.
