Mary Stuart, or Mary, Queen of Scots, is another name for Mary Stuart. Her reign lasted from 1542 to 1567. Her father died not long after she was born, therefore she ascended the throne at the age of six days. She was assigned to live in the French court as a child. She returned to Scotland in 1559.
