Gaining Weight
Now that the overgrown hair had been solved and the cat had some therapy for walking, there was still another issue that had to tackle. Sinbad had been deeply malnourished when the rescuers found him, so now Sinbad had to gain weight. Dr. Robyn Barbiers, the president of the Chicago Anti-Cruelty Society, mentioned, “We had a volunteer step up who is very good at getting cats to eat, started making a gruel, putting it in his mouth and after six days of that he started eating on his own.”
