Up to this point, five of the police officers’ neighbors had damaged their vehicles while attempting to cut the corner. The idea that David had constructed was completely legal, making it impossible for them to complain. They all soon learned to drive on the road, and not over the lawn of David. Even so, things continued with one of the troublesome neighbors who went ahead and put matters into their own hands. He also sent the lawyers out to investigate further.
