A family had a spectacular find when they discovered a famous Norman Rockwell painting in Vermont. It was hidden behind a fake wall in their late father’s house. The dead father kept a fake on the display of their house so that his wife would not get her hands from getting the original during their divorce. He never mentioned a thing even in his deathbed. The painting sold for $15.4 million in an auction. A similar incident happened in New York. A man had forgotten that he had a $300 million Michelangelo painting behind his couch and only recalled about the painting after 27 years.
