The Green Torpedo
The couple discovered a heavy green torpedo in their basement. They decided to consult an army veteran who explained that it was used either as a mortar or a lightweight anti-tank weapon during the Korean and Vietnam war. The authorities decided to take the bomb away. Since then, whenever the DeForests were asked how a torpedo ended up in their basement, they usually answered that it was kept as souvenirs.
