First of all, it is sad to hear that a lot of animals are abandoned on a yearly basis. This is typically the result of pet owners who could not deal with responsibility any more. Before you adopt your pet, you have to be sure that you have what it takes. It is not a good idea to back out of it just because you did not give it enough thought! Think hard about it since you are going to responsible for their lives.
