Misty May-Treanor
Even though she left the sport in 2012, we can not ignore how Misty May-Treanor founded herself as one of the biggest stars in the field of women’s volleyball. She has won Olympic gold on three separate occasions. With her in the group, the U.S. National Team captured the Summer Olympics in 2004, 2008 and 2012. Many people lauded her and Kerri Walsh Jennings for creating the best beach volleyball squad ever.” In the last two years, she has gained her Master’s degree in Training and Athletic Management.
