Hooded Seal

While the Hooded Seal seems to be a cute animal that you may like to keep as a companion, don’t be fooled by its appearance. The hooded seal is a large phocid with silver-grey fur and irregular black spots covering much of its body; its faces are frequently black. Hooded seals are aggressive, especially females, who have the instinct to defend their offspring. They get their name from their distinctive hooded nasal cavities.
