You should not be fooled by all the glitz and glamour of the halftime shows either. They tend to hide more unpleasant facts. At halftime, people debate on whether to go to the restroom or stay parked in front of the TV. Scott Tissue wrote an amusing analysis of all the toilets that flush at this point of the Super Bowl. “More than 350 million gallons of water will flush through our toilets as an estimated 90 million people use their facilities,” said the company. “That amount of flushing equals seven minutes of water flowing over the Niagara Falls.” We can’t say that we have thought about it like that before.
