It took them almost two and a half years to get somewhere. At last, M.I.A. chose to settle with the league and put everything behind her. However, we have no doubt that she mentally flipped off all the head honchos at the NFL. They did not share how much the rapper had to pay. Her attorney, however, said that M.I.A. and the NFL came to an agreement that put an end to the multimillion dollar dispute. On the bright side, the league ended up donating the money to charity.
