Tom Petty is a musician who knows exactly how to give us a fun halftime show at the Super Bowl. In 2008, he gave us a great performance when he took the stage. He knew what the audience wanted and delivered in spades. Just so you know, he opened his set with a rendition of “American Girl.” Sadly, he was unable to make up for his fellow Tom. We are talking about Tom Brady, who had not been at his best at the Super Bowl in 2009. We are sure that fans of the Patriots would rather forget that year.
