Before Beyonce came in and ruled the scene, the 1996 Super Bowl halftime show was as diva as it could get. Diana Ross entered the stage on a crane, yelling, “Come on, world.” On top of that, the entrance was made even more iconic thanks to all the sparklers. There had been plenty of ruckus on the stage as she performed. This had a lot of people wondering if the singer was going to be run over by all the red-vested dancers. However, the best part of the show was when Ross said, “Oh my, here comes my ride!” She had been talking about the helicopter that had just landed before it flew her away. What an icon!
