Every year, Americans wait for the Super Bowl like nothing else. This is easily one of the most exciting sporting events in the country! Aside from the game itself, everyone eagerly waits for the halftime performances as well. Even though they can be entertaining and uplifting, this is not always the case. People like Prince, Madonna, and The Boss have all delivered excellent performances, but there are also performers who did not make the mark. At any rate, people can’t seem to stop talking about the halftime show for weeks on end. In fact, some of them continue to be the talk of the town even though it has been years since then. Worst: Gloria Estefan And Olympic Figure Skaters, 1992

“Winter Magic” was the theme, which was perfect for cold Minnesota. Obviously, there have been a lot of huge snowmen and Brian Boitano and Dorothy Hamill. They were famous ice skaters at the time. The choreographed dance looked a little all over the place. Together with her Miami Sound Machine, Gloria Estefan danced and sang her heart out in the hopes of turning things around. Sadly, it did not work. The TV audience instead watched the live comedy special of In Living Color. No one thought that it was going to have an audience, but it turned out to be a hit. The halftime organizers were surprised by this and decided to get serious the following year. They pulled out the big guns with Michael Jackson!
