Psycho (1960)
In the psychological thriller film, Psycho is produced and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. During the movie, the audience was presented exposed to the agonizing portrayal of the somewhat true story about Marion Crane. A woman vanished after stealing $40K from the company she was working for. After landing herself at Bates Motel, the viewers discover that the owner of the hotel is also the murderer, Norman Bates. Possibly one of history’s most paused movies, but if its the shower scene you have in mind… it’s not that one. Hitchcock showed off Norman’s real sinfulness and evil psyche in one of the film’s final moments. When the appalling criminal was finally caught by the police and then turned to the camera, a skull layered over his face was revealed. At that point, Hitchcock knew what he was doing. The image was only shown for a split second, so if you blinked you missed it!
