The Accident
On April 2, 2001, Syme drove down Los Angeles’ Cahuenga Boulevard when she struck a parked car row. She was subsequently ejected from her own vehicle, and it repeatedly rolled over. It was reported that she died at the scene. The authorities later found prescription drugs in Syme’s car. An investigation into the accident revealed that Syme was inebriated and had not been wearing a seatbelt when the collision happened.
