Mirror Image Twins
Take a look at this certain type of identical twins. It occurs when the egg does not break into two a week after fertilization but 7 to 12 days later. By then, the embryo has developed a right and left side. The resulting twins might be identical, but they are mirror images of one another! Their hair might spiral in the opposite direction, while the teeth might come in on opposite sides of the mouth. It is also possible that one of them will be right-handed, while the other will be a leftie.
